. Jogoya .

Ya that's right
we're what we eat
so not a bad thing to be slightly fussy sometimes :)
and the main thing is
we paid for it :D lolx

went to Jogoya for the dinner buffet yesterday with hubby
got the buy 1 free 1 pax voucher
so went there to celebrate our 2nd anniversary :)

this's the 2nd time we having the buffet at Jogoya
the 1st time was also to celebrate our 1st anniversary haha
but this time Jogoya was really disappointed me

why? now i tell u why

1. Timing
we went for dinner buffet session which is 5pm-9pm
but not sure what really happened
customers can only enjoy their meals for 2 hours
meaning for those who came in 5pm have to leave on 7pm
so we're the batch that left on 7pm
although 2 hours are enough to make us full like hell
but normal dinner session suppose to be 4 hours
and RM88++ just for 2 hours?

2. Foods
i still remember the 1st time we went Jogoya
their foods were really nice
and they have great quality control on it
but this time it's really a big NO for me
the variety of foods still almost the same
just the standard really went down the slope
i can't list out the bad part of the food 1 by 1
so i just list out a few which i can remember

the bamboo clams they have look really big & nice
but once u bite on it
oh gosh all the sand is in your mouth
it's not only a few bamboo clams not clean
it's ALL with sand inside
sushi section was not with very fresh sushi too
and for those who've been to Jogoya before
know that we have to give them the clips
so they'll cook the selected food for us
but their foods take so long to cook
and once it reach us it's so cold
not even abit of warm on it
and yaada yaada yaada
to many for me to list all

3. Hygiene
i saw cockroaches everywhere
under the table
near the kitchen
and the most geli is that
i saw 2 cockroaches on the stack of plates & go towards a big bowl of food!
gosh i don't dare to take the foods from that section after that

4. Staffs
some staffs are not very polite
lasy to say what's actually happened
but i think this's easy to understand

5. Good part
ya the desserts section is still doing great
nice quality desserts they have
the cocktail bar section was good too
nice wine & SOME nice cocktails ya not all were nice
and the Haagen Daaz ice creams woohoo
although can't stuff too much of ice creams after the food war
but it's still the most worth part for me
yum yum :P

so overall
i think if compare with other Japanese buffet restaurants
Jogoya is still slightly better in some aspect
but if compare with its own previous standard
it really have to make some efforts on it
or else RM88++ is really not worth for a dinner buffet
after tax is RM110++ leh :X
i rather go to Shogun for just RM58++
anyway i think i'll still go there
but not on discounts or promotions period:P

but otherwise
yesterday was a happy day though
spending almost a whole day time to gai gai with hubby :)
although the meal was not really satisfying
but we ate happily & FULLLL too

for those who wanna try it out can just go ahead
hope you can come back & prove that i'm wrong :)
then i'll go there to eat with confidence next time
